Thanks. Just tried the procedure tonight. I'll let it sit in the direct sunlight all day tomorrow and report back the results tomorrow night.

Thanks! Do you know how long I should let the Hydrogen Peroxide/ water solution soak on the carpet before rinsing?

I have an '83 SN with original orange/ black astroturf style carpet. I just cleaned the interior and noticed that the carpet has a heavy mildew/ funky odor. Before I start using any harsh chemicals, I wanted to poll the experts on any tips to deodorizing the carpets in old correct crafts.

Floor/ stringers are still in decent shape. Hopefully another 5-6 years before I need to tear it all out.

Thanks!
