Yes, the hull graphics were painted. If you want to maintain the original, trace what you have and then a sign shop can scan and cut a Gerber (paint) mask off the tracing. What's the general condition of the gel? You mention painting the hull but a wet sand and buff may work. If not, then a re gel in my opinion would be better and maintain the value as you also mentioned. |

The side of my 73 Ski Nautique has a hand painted graphic with a trademark on it. I thought they hand painted the graphic in those days, so I didn't want to sand it off. I want to paint the boat but I was thinking it would lose value. Does anyone know if the graphics were hand painted in 73? Is there a place to get long decals from a vinyl shop one color graphic for a 73?
