Pretty sure that Freddie is totally committed to MasterCraft at this time. It could change but I don’t think it will. He’s a fantastic skier and very focused on his performance. I’ll be a the Malibu Open this weekend and it will be interesting to see how things shake out. I suspect Masterline and D3 will drop Nate’s sponsorship as well in the coming days.

I’ll proceed with caution as I haven’t found any official statements yet. As some of you may know world record holder Nate Smith has been in hot water, temporary suspension, etc about some pretty heavy accusations with women and girls. Rumor has it CC dropped Nate yesterday and I didn’t see his name on team Nautique this morning. As far as I know Nate hasn’t made any official statements denying any of this. There has been much opposition to his sponsors (mainly Nautique, D3, and Masterline) and encouragement for them step up on this situation. If Christian value focused Correct Craft dropped Nate, who would their next slalom poster boy be? I’m hoping they can pull Freddie from Mastercraft.
