The head should come off the pole. This should give you enough room to spice in some more wire. Use some good adhesive lined heat shrink butt splices. If not, then the bottom socket needs to come off. Then take a look at the bulb socket to see and remove the contacts. They need the old wire drilled out so you can solder in the new wires It's ether that or look for a new/old Perko on ebay. |

Rear light pole. Any idea how to fix this? I'm not sure soldering would work would it?
