Ha, I’m not going anywhere! Can’t get rid of me that easily. Donald, that would be like you trying to give up bud light and the $2 ballet. This forum has and will continue to provide great advice and good friends as well. And I’m still in the correct craft game and plan to always be. Hope to see many of you at the badin mini in oct.

Folks from KY coming tomorrow for the sport. They just sold a Supra comp and want to get into a little larger boat. We will see if it happens but hopefully tomorrow is the day. Took it for a farewell ride on sun. What a great boat.

David,
I can't speak for everyone on CCFan, but I do not want to see you go.

I went from an 83 Ski to a 95 Super Sport to a 2011 230. I don’t miss the Super Sport at all. I feel like the 230 does everything better except for slalom. But it’s not like the SS was a champ at that. But sometimes, especially when it’s just my wife and I, I really miss my Ski Nautique. There’s just something about a smaller direct drive boat. Enjoy the GS but it’s definitely ok and normal to miss your old boat from time to time.

The PN crew is great by the way. It’s definitely not the same but they’ll help you out.

Like Alan said when he went from his 81 to his 200 sport and I said when I went from my Tique to the 176, you won't be sad for long once you get out and start using the new boat. Good looking boat. Plan to see it this weekend.

New boat looks great and will be a great addition for the family. I have always loved the colors scheme of your Sport. It should sell fast.

Congrats! Nothing says we need to keep our boats forever, it's cool you loved the Sport, and at the same time exciting to see the new GS.

I like the color scheme of the new boat, that will age very well.

I feel your "pain". It's always tough to let one go...but it's fun to get the new horse in the barn! Just 2 months ago I upgraded to a 2001 from a 1994. Happy & sad all at the same time.

Took the plunge on a new boat for the family. I was forced into this by the wife, said no one buying a boat ever. But for real, "our family" wanted a boat with more space and we found a 2017 GS22 with 79hrs and garage kept. Unfortunately due to that, the Sport is on the blocks for sale (should hit the for sale page soon). I already have some interest from some boating friends. Hopefully she will go to a good home! And it is bs on the old saying of the 2 happiest days. It has been a great boat and will be tough to watch someone else pull it away. Not to worry, the Tique will keep me in the direct drive boat game. And hopefully, there will be a restored 72 Skier sooner rather than later if we can ever get some work done on it. And we have a 351 at the barn looking for a home...who knows what that could go in.

Not sure if you all want to see pics of a new boat or not but here they are. First the pretty one...then the new one (previous owner pic). I do love the colors on the new one. Reminds me of the late 80's/early 90's. Specifically a teal and grey Sport on my lake that I have drooled over since the summer of 89.
