The cooler being a thin copper shell, many have damaged them by trying to remove a stuck drain plug. Unless you double wrench (one on the hex boss soldered to the cooler shell and the other on the plug) don't even try to pull then drain. Besides, it's alot easier to just remove the cooling water hose on the low end of the trans cooler. BTW, many coolers aren't even equiped with the drains.

Never pull the trans cooler drain.
Block and U are 1/4” NPT. If I had to guess on the manifold plugs, I’d say 3/4” NPT. |

If memory serves me, pcm 351, 1” on exhaust, 3/8” on block, 3/8” on water u-tube by impeller, 1/8-27 on trans cooler.

So, I know this has happened to someone before, but I'm really ashamed that it's happened to me.
Winterized boat last year. Took drain plugs out. Just now getting around to getting it ready for the water. (New upholstery just got finished.) Now, I can't find the bag with my drain plugs in it. Anybody know what sizes I need? If I remember correctly, there were 5. Any help would be appreciated. According to my daughter, I've already said all the bad words, so now I'm looking to go buy new ones. Thanks in advance. k
