Hack it up and poke hole in the mesh with screwdriver and push the clear tubing into it. You actually can’t really tell it’s hacked.

That link seems to go to a discontinued item, but I think I found similar items here, and they have lots of height choices too, which is great.

I am looking for a flame arrestor for a Holley 4160 that has the nipple for the clear fuel line that comes off of the fuel pump (diaphragm rupture indicator). I just picked up this boat, and the flame arrestor that came on this boat does not have the connection for this clear line, so the line is just sitting there not connected to anything. Probably not the safest thing in the world.
I would be interested in either a complete flame arrestor, or the nipple/connector that might be able to mount to my existing flame arrestor.
