Have you checked the choke to make sure it is fully closed when cold? Another check is to have someone pump the throttle (engine off) to make sure it squirts gas immediately. Maybe the bowls are not staying full somehow.

I have a 1991 Ski Nautique. Having trouble getting it to start when its been sitting for awhile. Once it starts, it runs great and will start perfectly the rest of the day. What can I do to get it to start better when cold?
