My '89 came with an Oklahoma trailer. I thought it worked well and was well built.

Here's an old thread on bunk carpet in the link It might stray a little into other carpet discussions I think by changing carpet direction on just one side, I could "tune" my trailer kinda like tuning a rudder so the boat would back off straighter counteracting the pull to one side in Reverse

Nothing will ever match the fit and ease of loading a Correct Craft boat on a Correct Craft trailer they were after all made for each other. Anything else is a compromise. Even my Phoenix made for my Super Sport has issues like a bow roller rather than a bow stop. On steep ramps the bow ring or even the bow itself can get hung up on the roller. I fixed that by using a Ramlin stop- sorry about the sideways apple photo
 And these back guides should really be mounted close to the fenders,the transoms of these being so curved that with the guides being so far back allow the stern to move sideways when it's almost fully loaded which allows the prop to come awful close to the sides of the prop guard.  Post up some pictures of what your concerns are,we might have some suggestions that could make for a better fit. |

If its a bunk trailer the carpet may have the knap facing backwards this will make it hard to put on but it will want to slide off.

I recently bought a 1991 Ski Nautique, and it came with a Oklahoma Trailer. The trailer is extremely hard to load. Whenever I power the boat onto the trailer, and then reduce power, the boat slides almost all the way off the trailer. I had a 1984 Ski Nautique, and the trailer was so easy to load. I could just power the boat onto the trailer until the nose contacted the pads in front, and that was it. You didn't even have to tie it down.
Any suggestions as to how to make the Oklahoma tailer easier to load.
