Hey Rod, where do you plan to drop the boat in? If you drop it lake Eustis then you can take the Dora Canal into Lake Dora or Vice Versa but a very Scenic journey and a CCfan favorite at the yearly Ruckus.  While you're in Eustis you can head up to the NW corner of the lake and venture into and up Haynes Creek. Plenty deep so normal cruising speed is okay, You can go further till you hit the lock and go thru it for a really cool Disney type River Jungle cruise AKA "James Bond" run until you enter Lake Griffin... Gator Bay Marina is just after the lock if you need fuel or food. Seen alot of interesting folks there but always a crowd so I guess the food is okay.Look at past River ruckus threads for pics. It truly is a river run and enjoyed by those who make the trip with us every year. You won't be disappointed.

So we are heading to Mt Dora this week. I know a couple members live there, or know lots about it. Can anyone message me with contact info so I can chat what we can do boating wise?
