Regarding your original bimini for your '95 Nautique (I have a 95 Ski Nautique closed bow & wishing to mount a bimini);  Are those original biminis available?  And from who?  How long is it?  And height? And does your's mount to the 'base of windshield' attachment point?  Re. your larger new bimini (universal); can, it attach to the windshield attachment? Thanks!

I installed a large bimini on my Malibu Skier, I went for a large and tall top to make it easy to walk under and offer better shade for us on those 100* water days.  I folded it forward over the windshield to store it, did not ever remove it.   Had two zippers added for the sky high pole use, one for the pole and one for the cable to pass to the nose.  The large bimini is a little tough at the dock on windy days, worked like a sail.  Being taller had a downside also in late afternoon conditions as the sun would sneak in under the sides.  Overall I would use it again, we had that boat while the kids were young and spent many 4-5 hour sessions out on the lake with them wakeboarding and kneeboarding with friends.  The popular bimini tops are fully adjustable for width when you install them so a universal should work and look just fine.   Out 95 Nautique has the much lower and smaller bimini, it works fine but not as much protection as we had with our larger one.
