Patrick,
I'd say the bulb socket contacts have lost some of their sping tension. Before you replace them, try bending them slightly. Also, try bending the contact wires on the 194 wedge base bulbs outward slightly. Both should tighten up the bulb.

Hello,
I replaced the dash gauge bulbs with new 194 bulbs and they all work as expected but now all of the bulb bases seem loose and I can tell that the first bump/wave will knock them loose. The bases/sockets were tight when I removed them. Should I be looking to replace the blue twist on base/sockets? Just wondering if there is a trick to get them tight again or should I just look for new bases/sockets and if I need new ones does anyone have a good source? thanks, Patrick
