Castrol super clean, spray areas, scrub with an old 1" or 2" paintbrush and rinse off.

Does anybody have any reccomendations for cleaning the engine before the winter. I usually fog it down, drain, anti freeze,etc. but was thinking about spraying with gunk and power washing also. Usually do the jeep a couple times a year, but always leave it running? Any thoughts?
