I have a 63 and 64 dated dunphy
I know they say 64 was first year but serial is 63- The 63 has new wood bottom, rebuilt 312 original, new upholstery w proper stitching in lines. Multi year restoration a little here and there About ready to start the second boat but will be short a set of emblems Reason I was curious about yours. Would love to see when done and be interested in how to get a set made as well. |

I'm happy to report...yes. The emblems have been signed off (by me) and are at chroming. The Dunphy scripts and both sides of the "flag" logo. (They each wave astern). They will come with adhesive-backing since we didn't want to drill holes (that may or may not line up). Hole can be drilled if preferred. Should be ready in about 3 weeks.
Also, I did find a correct rear stern light pole. Thanks Tell us about your X...

Fellas, thank you so much. Riley, that looks exactly like my photo. I do have the base (in photo)...but never had the lamp portion. I don't think it 'retracts', as the fuel tank is just below deck.
I'll check e-pay and elsewhere...and thanks again!

Definitely an Attwood base. Pretty sure you’ll find one but they may be expensive. I’ll keep an eye out.

That looks like a "Jetson Stern Light" base. Keep an eye on ebay. They come up. Most that I have seen did not have the removable pole, but the pole receded into the deck. I've seen some for sale with the removable pole that had a square base. If you have room below deck for the pole to recede, you may be able to convert yours if you cannot find the type you have.

Trying to find a stern light pole for '64 Dunphy. Base has 3 mount screws, 2-pin light base, knurled tighten knob. Only markings on bottom are "CA 6224-04". Tried a Perko mast-too loose, and pins don't line up. Any ideas?
(will try and post photo) |
