Joe,
I have some composite gears for the ford with one hole drilled if you decide not to drill new holes in your gear.

Here are the Ford instructions in the link below for installing a new gear that's not drilled at all.

Short version................A complete new hole through the gear and shaft at 90 degrees to the original and at a different height

Probably more complicated than you wanted to hear and probably why DUI sends it undrilled so you have to measure and get it right instead of assuming that one hole lines up at the right height and you just drill through to put the roll pin in.

You must have Chevy race engines Wink

Hi I have a DUI distributor reverse rotation that I purchased a new drive gear for it from performance distributor. It came without the cross pin hole. I see this on my race car gears but they drill one hole so if the distributor shaft has not been drilled straight you can correct it. How can I drill this correctly ? I have a drill press and center punch but I do not have a way to mock it up and get the hole exactly as the original gear location and I do not want to shim the distributor. Any ideas Thank You Joe
