Interesting read for sure.   I am not sure I want to be on the water with boats that are electric, I can’t imagine  what could happen with all those volts should they short to water.

No matter where technology takes us, there will still be the need for those who work with their hands. Probably be in more demand. It least in my life time.

Will say being away from all the technology gadgets and the fast pace American life style to being on an island sounds pretty good. I like things to be a little slower pace these days.

Interesting quick read and unfortunately for us Old School guys, it's gonna hit hard. If you're a Trekie then you know the saying...."Resistance is Futile!" Like it or not it's coming and as always with technology advancing quickly there are benefits and drawbacks from it. 3D printing has come along way and those hard to find emblems or brackets or whatever can be printed easily. With the way things are going these days....being stranded on a deserted island with 6 other castaways might not be a bad thing.
