Just up route 7 from you in Sherman, the ski nautique has been on Candlewood Lake all of its life.

My brother and I have owned this boat since new, a few weeks ago I bought a new polisher from Harbor Freight, and I gave it a try this past weekend. First I used some compound from Meguirs and it took off a lot of the oxidation that had built up over the last 37 years.
If I can upload pictures (that remains to be seen) then you’ll be able to see the results, I still have to do the teak swim platform, but my arms are like jello from using the machine, after the compounding, I went around the boat a second time with a different polishing pad and used some polish from Meguires, and finally after that was done, went around the boat for a third time, this time using a liquid spray wax, went on and off with little effort. Thanks for looking
