Took mine apart, cleaned the faces and repainted the needles. Replaced the rubber grommet for the tuning stick and was back in biz. Ace hardware for the grommet. I did not use the face sticker but it looked good. I also didn't rechrome.
If anyone is interested in some airguides that are pitted and bad looking, I can make you a deal.

Hey gang, I should have been more clear. Just looking for an aesthetic overhaul...chrome, face, and pointers, etc.... Don't need the guts, as they're not going back in a boat.
Thanks

I suppose you could put the GPS guts in and have the same old ugly looking speedometer you started with, (since the 725's use the original faceplate, needle etc. on a GPS conversion) if the cases are all pitted
Here's a link to a not too old thread with some info about where to get a faceplate decal if you can't find anybody and want to "refresh" it yourself. samudj01 has done at least a few of these himself, you might send him a PM |

This shop will take your old Air Guide speedos and convert them to GPS. Not cheap, but... https://www.nauticlaugic.com/airglide.html You need to get out to Utah for some qualilty skiing with Team Red. JQ

Does anyone restore the older Airguides? I have a pair, surface mounted with the flange, chrome. Black dial, white numbers, and orange needle. Model 725, if I recall.
Thanks...
