I was being a smart ass and making a joke about some other members for other members who would read this thread regarding the what's it worth and trailer comment.
Not about your your boat or the muffler.

Yep it looks like a nice job on the y pipe probably because the muffler is so expensive.
You might want to do a search about the under water exhaust, i know that a member on here installed a 90 rubber elbow on his exhaust port and he says it knocked the sound down a bit.

Thanks;  Nope. don't have the muffler.  PO removed it (presumably it failed) and replaced with the Y-pipe you suggest.  Works great but it is pretty noisy so I'd prefer to go back to stock ideally.

What do you mean about trailer?? and what it's worth?  You mean the muffler?  They seem to be running about $900 which I guess is down to low volume manufacturing.  Seems a lot for a fibreglass box!

If you have the muffler, a welding fabricator could make you a Y pipe that fits in it's place with existing hoses.
If you dont have the muffler you can fabricate what you need from pvc pipe and just about any welder fabricator can reproduce it for you.

You can piece something together from centek (see link)
https://centekmarine.com/products/exhaust-systems/

If you have the muffler and it is leaking you could repair it, there are endless possibilities depending on what you have to work with, time, money, parts, skills, how hard does your wallet open is usually what it comes down to and on and on.

Just don't don't ask what what it's worth or if you should bother registering the trailer.
Ha!

Looking for a hull hugger muffler for a 1997 Ski Nautique.

Anyone got any ideas that don't involve handing over nearly $1000 for one??  Suggestions gratefully received!
