Skicat,
We live in Ohio, just north of Cinti. And we have a place on Cumberland for summer fun. Bad news..But it has to be done. I'm glad they are finally going to fix it! But, it's really going to hurt buisness down there . Scott |

Eric: Know right where you mean. There is a name for the place but I can't remember it right now. Another senior moment. I bet you have made some money off of that spot!
Did you get to the Show? How was it? I sure miss it. Did you see the Nautique dealer? James and Chris? john |

The whole cars aren't a problem, it's the whole cars with the people still in them that's the problem!

know what you guys mean, the lake I use has a alot of stuff in the bottom. Fortunately it's very deep. The police were doing a dive years ago and their diver got trapped inside an oven. Took him a couple of minutes to figure out he needed to swim backwards. They believe there are whole cars on the bottom of the lake.

Should make for some nice surprises once the level is dropped. Wallets, sungla$$es, boats...
What do they do with the houseboats (rentals)? The second link had another link that I read that some marinas will be fine while others SOL. Project completed in 2014, but hopefully they can bring water back up a little more every year. |

Anybody around Lake Cumberland in Kentucky? I saw this morning where they are dropping the lake levels down 43' below summer pool & going to keep it there because of dam leakage. They put the price tag @ $309 million for the repairs.Looks like 80-90% of the lake access will be unusable for the rest of the year & possibly longer. Going to be a lot of marinas putting in some overtime to get access to the boats! Here is a link to the corps website & Lake Cumberland info.
