Any custom auto shop should have something to fit your needs. An outfit called the The Roadster Factory (theroadsterfactory.com) carries a product that I have used for both sound and heat control on the old Triumphs. It is similar to the old auto hood liners but with a mylar finish. Be careful, some of these products require a VERY clean surface and you have to use their adhesive for it to stick.
Oh yeah, the water pump pulley on the '78 is right against the motor box, watch the clearances. |

I have an 80 ski nautique. Is there any type of insulation that could be installed in the engine box that would cut back on the interior noise?
