I purchased the brackets from my local Correct Craft dealer whom, I am sure, ordered from a catalog/supplier. My friends 85 Nautique uses the exact same bracket for his platform. I know I have the receipt for the brackets, but the papework is at home. Maybe the invoice will list a model/manufacturer...stay tuned.

Who did you purchase the Brackets from? I have the same problem and have been looking for a set of brackets that would work. |

I used aluminum platform brackets that have a pin release that allows me to remove two pins and the entire platform lifts up and off the portion screwed to the transom. The brackets are common and very well engineered.

How much do you need to gain?
I'm sure that you could come up a pivot or hinge system that would support the platfrom and a skier but you would only gain about a foot because of the down legs on the bracket. It would be cleaner in the long run to cut the brackets in such a way to leave the vertical angle on the transom. Weld aluminum extensions to the portion of the bracket remaining with the platform. Clamp the platform back in position, drill through the extension pieces and the vertical angle on the transom and bolt them together. Actually, the easiest thing would be to park it at my place, and, oh yeah, leave the keys! |

Just sold a 76 Ski Tique and bought a 78 Ski Nautique. The 78 with deluxe trailer will not fit in garage without modifications (lengthwise). Anyone have any thoughs on a quick release kit or otherwise for temporarily raising the platform for storage? Thanks in advance.
