Watts are irrelevent. You need to be concerned about how many amps the system will draw. The easiest way to figure this is by adding up all of the fuses in your equipment. for example: Head unit has a 15amp fuse. Amp #1 has two 15 amp fuses. Amp #2 has four 10amp fuses. (15 x 3) + (10 x 4) = 85A I would think you should be able to run a load up to 100A without a problem. I'm not really sure how high you could go. |

How many stereo watts do you thing I can push a stock 82 2001 alternator on one battery ? If I run two batteries how many watts do you think I can push on the stock alternator as well ? Please give me some advise on when to upgrade. Now I push two amps ,one battery & under a 450 watts stereo set up with no problems, THanks.Dan
