boat dr.
I ended up buying it for $1500 to replace our worn out 1980 evinrude. Runs great, no smoke, quiet. 24' pontoon, small lake. Runs as fast as it did with the old 35. Tim |

Why,Why,Why???????
Halve of all my work now consists of caarb and ign. related to 4 strokes. With all the hype the prices for them is at a premium. What size pontoon boat, most be small for a motor that size.I have a 3 cyl. Yamaha oil injected 40HP on our 20 footer. At cruise burns about 1 gal per hr,5 to 7 mph. No valves to adjust or oil and filter changes,The Boat Doctor don't want no 4 stroke................IMHO |

i had one on a little 14ft twin vee and it would get 3 people on plain about 18-20 mph.
also one night it rained so hard that the boat partially sank at my dock and the engine was halfway under water, started with no problem. |
