69mustang check out the BW service manual in the reference section.that should answer your question.i assume u have a velvet drive tranny

I think my 1966 mustang has type A. I'll have to check the bottle. I remember I had the guy at NAPA order it. It was the old type they didn't stock any more. The mechanic at White Lake Marina said adding a new kind would cause the clutch pack to slip.

what is the recomended oil? dexron or F type?
