After seeing a few back barefoot lines at Nationals, I'm extremely anxious to learn the flip-turn ski.

I can't flip either, and I can do just about everything on skis, after having the ski almost hit me a bunch of times I gave up on the flip. I have been walking around for about 5 years, I will post some pics and a step by step directions so you guys can try it.

Nose plugs=not cool.

Tim; I have only known one guy, a friend from Ohio, Gary Brezina, that could do back step-offs. Taught himself.

Eddie; Forgot to ask when we talked on the phone...are you and Jo-Anne gonn want to go to the Reunion with me and Patti? If so, let me know so I can call SouthWest and get some more tickets. It is next weekend...the 8th. We are gonna leave outa here about 8am and meet up with Mark and Lisa so we can park together. It is a blast. C'mon.

That's the stuff HW. Doesn't do you much good in your truck though!

Your sinuses will thank you when you go to bed after the first time you use it.

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

It's a 3M product. I bought a roll over a month ago because of this forum and backfoot's comments, although I've forgotten it in my trunk every time so far.

This is what I purchased. Right stuff backfoot?

I don't have too many problems taking on water when doing deeps, or maybe I'm just used to it, but I do remember it bothering me when I was first learning. I never tried the tape, but we did keep a bottle of flo-nase on the boat. A couple shots of that in each nostril helped a lot.

Nothing is too dorky if you're trying to prevent sinus pressure washes. The nose clips don't stay on. The first faceplant you get the nose plug is gone.

The tape works awesome. John is right. Nexcare Flexible Clear tape. I get it at Walgreens in the first aid section. It comes in a dispenser just like scotch tape. Just remember that it doesn't prevent you from getting water in your nose it just prevents the pressure cleaning. Make sure that your nose and hands are dry before you put it on. After you're done skiing, just remove it and do a couple of farmer blows and you're good to go.

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

Jbear

thanks I will have to pick some up before this week end. I get the fish bowl feeling and it stays with me for a week. Right when it goes away I go back to the lake and it comes back, trying to get rid of that feeling.

Although it is a good idea. When I was younger I always had that fishbowl head feeling at the end of the day. Didn't seem to mind it back then. Now it bugs me and makes me feel like crap for about the next 24 hours.

Nice Mark...where are we meeting for the Reunion? We need to start a thread to see who is coming.

Jim; I am lucky enough to foot with Eddie (Backfoot) when I am not working late...he turned me on to this tape...lets me do multiple deeps...something I have not done for years.

Nexcare...Flexable Clear....get it at any drug store...stuff works great...and looks cooler than nose plugs.

Backfoot,

I remember awhile back you mentioned using tape for your nose when deep up starting. What kind of tape is it, name or brand? Where can I get it.
