I can't help you with the rudder, hopefully someone will come along to offer you some help, but I just had to comment, things must be going ok with that Mustang if nothing else has come up in the past 8 years, almost to the day.

I have a 1969 Mustang that I am in need of a few parts for. The original morse control, mounts on the side on the right side of the driver, the original steering wheel, the small metal arm that disengages the starter on the transmission. the cable is attached to this arm, and a windshield. Otherwise this boat is immaculate, my family has run this boat hard for about 25 years and it still looks and runs great!!!!
