I called correct craft, and measured both trailers. Bunks are same width, stop can come back several inches with no major mod.

Two reasons one, I want to keep the galvanized trailer. Two, the 84 trailer is much higher than the 96, and I need that hight to just get it in my driveway.
Correct! 2001 model will fit on 96 trailer. The uprights are a bit wider, they can be modified if needed. The bunk widths measure the same. The length is 18' 9" vs 19' 6" The stop can be moved back to get proper tonge weight. There are another set of holes on the tonge now. Another can be drilled, or a bracket can be made. A good welder can do anything with this. |

The trailer will be too long, but the boat will fit on it. We put our '88 on my uncles '90 trailer at least once. |

Hi Lance,
Full disclosure: I am bidding on both boat and trailer on ebay. Your boat is posted in the For Sale section of this site for $5000 obo w/o a trailer. You posted here asking if you could swap trailers. Based on TRBenj's response the 86 boat will fit the 96 trailer, which is cool. But why not sell the 86 boat with the 86 trailer? I'm not trying to be a smart a** but I am a little confused. Email me and let's see if we can work out a deal and save the ebay fees Thanks, Mike |

Ski Nautique Corrrect Craft Trailer Inboard
Trailer had new everything brakes and tires put on a couple of years ago. I have an extra matching tire. I have a new set of bearings to go with it. Trailer tows boat very well, and breaks work great. I purchased this boat and trailer from a guy on a fresh water river in WV. I live on the Bay and I am going to keep my old galvanized trailer and update it with brakes. |
