Dude,

Sorry I missed your reply on this one. I haven't been down there for a year now; kind of looking into going back. But the work we were doing was more in the rural areas that were low on the priority list.

But, the thing that is catching me about the rebuilding of New Orleans is that because of gov regs and mismanagment the storm protection is not going to be significantly improved. There is also the problem of the city continuing to "sink." Compound that with a rising ocean and there is a recipe for another disasstor.

It's just a hard thing to build a city below sea level and pretend that a hurricane will not cause signifant damage.
