gotta couple Kindle fires too, nice to go to the kids practices and bring it with you, you can browse, read a book, listen to music etc.
one other thing i just got was this thing you plug into the front of a Blue ray, it stores movies, maybe a 16gb, my next door neighbor is a pirate and gets the latest movies...i was just amazed that you could plug this little thing into a usb port and play a movie. he does have a larger hard drive with about 200 movies on it...I gotta get up to date on this sht |

The questions may be dark, but the dark questions are the ones that have the funniest answers. I bought my old flip phone for $10. For $10 I did not have to sign a contract AND it came with a charger. As far as I am concerned, you cannot even buy a charger for a phone for $10. It was nice because I had nothing to worry about, that phone broke and it was $10 to replace it and than I had an extra charger. I also loved the size of that flip phone, it did not even feel like I had it in my pocket.
As for the new iPhone, I don't think I turned into a zombie... yet, I mostly use it for pictures and streaming music. But you never know! |

they all laugh last though, i replaced my phone with the same flip you have about a month ago, needless to say i hit i already with a grinder already in my pocket down to the circuit board and to re-bondo it....but my prior was a flip (like em cause the fit in the pocket) but i was the only one ever to get reception inside my steel building always,
everyone laughs at flip phones, but i gave my old one to my daughter because she went over to her friends, lost it, i was bummed, snowed that week...went over on the 7th day and found it in a puddle, opened, with the speker piece knocked off....was with my fireind who laughs at the phone.... flipped that bitch open, hit the power button and started making calls lol |

Jonathan, your questions to Siri are all a little on the dark side! but more importantly has Siri been kind enough to give you the answers?
Welcome to the Zombie world...next time you are out in town just have a look around at how many people walk about in a slow manner with thier concentration firmly fixed on thier smart phone of choice. The younger the person the more Zombie they are with the phone never leaving thier hand. Oh and I have so far resisted the craze and have stuck with my old skool Symbian S60 smartphone. |

I just bought my first smart phone last week and I went with the iPhone 4s. The guy laughed at me when he saw the phone that I was using:
He couldn't believe that I did not even have a screen on the front or have a camera. I love the iPhone, or as my buddies call it the fruit phone. I don't know if it is true or not, but I heard a rumor that the 4s stands for 4 Steve. We are always trying to come up with some weird questions to ask Siri, some of the best so far are: Where can I dump a dead body? Locate the closest escort service? Locate the closest place to commit suicide? and so on. I also love streaming Pandora. I bought a new deck for my truck and it can stream music through blue tooth so now I can listen to Pandora where ever I go. I don't think I can live without a smart phone now that I have one. |

Can totally see how CCfan's would like an iPhone. Original, if you "customize" it ie: covers/fonts/colors etc people look at you funny "dude, why you messing with an iPhone, it's perfect the way it is!"
I like my versatility on my droid. I can do what I want, when I want. Siri doesn't tell me how to live my life! Also just hate the monopoly apple has seemed to become. I wanna plug it in and put some music on it...not have it tell me which songs are new and what aren't compatible with craptunes. This all being said, my wife is an apple fan girl. Don't get me wrong, they are the CC of electronics. I just like my droids :) |

LOL. I didn't even notice that it was 2007. Maybe Joel will check in to tell us how his iPhone is treating him 4 plus years later. |

I've been contemplating the switch to an iPhone for sometime now. I'll get off the fence one of these days.

Just joking...I have touch-tone. And hi-speed internet too. But as Keith found out...I am just barely competent enough to stay on here. You guys do amaze me tho. john |

I agree it is one of the best devices I've seen. I bought one for my son the week they came out. It came in handy within the first week. We had to activate an I-Pass for the Illinois toll booths by internet, because it was after 10:00pm when we purchased the pass. He fired up the internet on his I-phone as we drove down the road. Presto, done! Steve |

I'll say this- When my cam fails from using that non-ZDDP oil for 3 hours I'll have no problem browsing for a crate engine on Skidim.com on the water!

Well Joel I'd say you didn't do your homework on this one.
Does it have the necessary amounts of ZDDP for our use? Will it go undefeated and win the Super Bowl? |

I finally got an iPhone. After activating it and transferring my ATT account to it on my own computer and playing with it for only a day I can say without hesitation that it is the best thing that has happened to consumer electronics in a long time.
I don't really have anything else to say about it- it's just stunningly amazing in every way. I've heard all of the hype both for and against it and I approached it with great skepticism but I have ZERO disappointments. It's so great that it reminds me how lucky we are to be alive in such a dynamic time relative to computers and information. Any other iPhone users out there? |
