Resin Wax Removal?

   Okay, here's the problem. The engine cover has cracks along the corners on the rear of the cover running vertical. I stop drilled the cracks and I did a fiberglass repair on them using resin and cloth. I used Evercoat Premium Resin which does have the wax in it. I've got some complex curves in the repair and I'd like to stregthen it up more but I know I need to remove the resin surface wax. Does anyone have a quick way to remove the wax other than sanding? It's gumming up my sand paper quicker than snot and I'm wondering if someone has a better way. I tried Paint Thinner and Acetone and it just laughed at me. Any Ideas?

	Tim, Try some denatured alcohol. Are you wet sanding? The wax is supposed to make sanding easy!

	Pete, No I am not. Guess I'm supposed to wet sand huh? Yeah, that's what I thought too. Maybe wet sanding is the trick.
