Lakeman, Where are you located? I could use the trailer, and may have some interest in the engine if it's basically complete. Thanks.

Hey Reid,

Maybe we could get Jerry to drop that one in my nautique!

He is located just down the road from you on Mt Island

Mtn Island, heck, that's practically next door.

Greg, the engine in is yours if I get it. I'll have Jerry stick in some 7:1 pistons and a 2bbl carb on it for you.

Lake, do you have a figure in mind on the trailer? You can call me if you like, 704-451-5080.

Are you considering parting out the engine? The exhaust manifolds & the risers are of interest me as are the gauges. If you are going to have the gauges as part of the bar, I'll swap you the exact gauges but they don't work.

Thanks

I would like to sell the complete engine/trans assy. I got the engine to turn over this weekend but found water/oil in one of the rear plug holes, does not appear to have water in oil pan, trans fluid looks good, was planning to use the gauges as part of the bar and am not sure if they work, will trade for non-working, how can I test them?

To check your gauges, put 12 volts + to the + terminal and 12 - to the "S" terminal. The gauges should peg the needle. You can put a 100 ohm resister in series and the gauges should read about half way. If you want the gauge to light, you will need 12 volts to the "L" and "G" terminals.

What kind of frames are under that bench? Or are you not selling any other pieces?

Shawn, 6 months ago you posted you were looking for a pylon. I suggested that you may need to have it fabricated. Just wondering if you looked into it? The pylons are just real hard to find. You may end up having to buy another boat to get one!!

8122pbrainard---

I'm still going through the boat. It was a little rough. So until it gets a little close to hitting the water, I'll keep trying to find one.. Thank for the info..
