Hello Folks

I am looking for the dimensions for the boxes the rear seats sit on top of.Has anyone had any experience building them? Wood sucks.
Please advise and thanks in advance.

Come on Robert!!! I'm forwarding your comment on to the ACBS! You need a nice stringer project to practice on. How are your stringers?

Really, is there anything remaining of the old base to use as a pattern?

Bob(you signed BB so I'm guessing Bob), mine in an '88 are plastic...they were wood in an '86?

Good 1 Pete!   LOL

Edit-Bob, I just noticed that you're pretty close to me if you'd like to come by sometime to measure.

I have an 86 BFN over in Duluth if you need some info. The boat is not at my house, but I can get you some dimensions of the back seat this week or you are welcome to come look it over.

I don't know Hollywood personally, but according to the comments of other members, he sounds like an alright dude. That's a harsh way to start out as a newbie.

Plastic does not suck. It will not rot.Does anyone make the plastic ones aftermarket? If I had the mold I would manufacture them myself,I am sure I am not the first person with this issue.Any help is appreciated. Ski cat I might head over your way in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks guys

If God had wanted us to have fiberglass boats, he would have created fiberglass trees!

Both Greg's above (skicat & buffalo) are in your area. Your best bet would be to take them up on their offers and go measure.
