We've had our '68 SN a little over a month now. After having a great time on the water we trail the boat out, pull the plug, and drain all the water from the bilge. I put the boat in the garage and then look into the bilge the next day and discover about a gallon of water. I get rid of it and the next day discover more. I give up where's it coming from?

Water will enter the bilge thru the shaft packing(this is normal)and thru normal use. The water draining a day later is water that has sloshed in the bilge and that has been absorbed by the flotation foam which will slowly leach out of the foam, ei... the delay in the drainage.
