I've put a keg on mine and had so many people standing on it, that the boat tipped up and dumped everyone off.

I believe that deck is supportd by 4 brackets. It also depends how for out the people are standing. For example having three grown men standing with their toes over the edge is alot more than people standing in the center. I'd say you would be safe with 400 pounds on end, but I'm no engineer!
