I see a Morse 2 manual in the reference section, does anyone have a manual or better yet exploded parts view of the older style morse control.
Are parts still available for these old style units? I'm helping get another boat ready and we're going to need a throttle shaft cam as this one is worn to the point the detent ball has no effect. Anyone have any old parts they want to get rid of? |

You can’t change the wind but you can adjust your sails

Alan, I stole this link from another thread. Not sure if this will help, but there is an exploded diagram of an MV-2..scribbled on it in pen says same as MV- again, not sure if this will help- I've never taken one of these apart so don't have any first hand experience.

I have the original control from our 88. I assume it's a MV-1 as it doesn't have the lockout collar. It was working fine when I pulled it for powdercoating. I ended up upgrading to the MV-2 for the lockout since we have kids on the boat occationally. I generally keep all the OE parts I've removed but I'm pretty sure it will never make it back on the boat. Just LMK and it's yours.
