the end is fretted, it took about 50 tons to press the cut piece out because of the broken set screw with the easy out in it, damn rudder is in the way of course and pulled the strut which with the shaft in the bushings is like a rented POA at the close of the convention.
it was due

Kind of loose then huh? We just needed to clear up that acronym for Kristoff.

I talked to Rich this morning Eric, I didn't get a chance to call him yesterday. Parts should be there by Wednesday...

Thanks Randy

I picked my boat up from Eric Friday, put the new Acme prop on, and took it out today.
All I can say is Wow! It was so smooth, and it really gets up out of the water now. really nice.

I'm glad I took this to Eric. He did a fantastic job. I consider myself very fortunate to live close enough to be able to take it to him.
Since I don't have the experience with these boats that some of you guys have, I would not have been able to determine that the strut bearing was bad, or that the shaft was in such bad shape. I would have probably spent a good part of the rest of my summer getting this right.

Thank you Eric!

thought I would give this a bump since Eric seemed to miss my report on his work.

(Eric, see above post dated 7-13)

Eric is an outstanding guy, I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of boat, and especially transmission repairs!

Thanks again Eric. We just got back from 5 days down at Salt Fork, had a great time, and the boat ran great.
