How much? The intake, is it for a 1-barrell or 2-barrell carb? My set-up now is a 1-barrell. But need a good set of exhaust manifolds for spares.

The money for shipping the exhaust manifolds;tell me how much and how to send the money order, check whatever to you and I'll get it to you ASAP. As for the intake and distributor name your price. I haven't really priced those items for my motor yet.

Champaigne in color, look on the color charts for 1966 Skylark,All OEM yes.Got some info from CC on my boat says it left the factory on 6/21/65. Check out my other threads on site 1965 Bill of Sale I think it is. Thanks again Peter, also name your price on the other items.
[Page 5 General Discussion]Also under Ski,Ride and Foot Talk ,Prop for Skiing thread look at it; Especially my Hull ID Tag.

Marty, that's got to be one of the nicer original boats I've seen on the site.

Peter, I just got back from NH and that Mustang at the camp is the same color as Marty's. That would be a decent boat to get. Everything is there. I did not see anybody to talk to. I did see the Skylark and it is pretty much junk and unfortunately it's been picked over pretty good. Not many parts left.

Thanks.I've always kept it under a shelter and covered all the way to the trailer;even during the summer. But it does get time off to breathe.I was wondering should I get some exhaust flaps? The only problem is that my exhausts are the smaller 2 3/8 inches I think. If I went with the 3 inch flaps that would mean buying the 3 inch thru-hull fittings then. Never had any problems though.

Did you notice my Hull ID Tag? Do you have any input on it?

The 1965 Bill of sale I got from CC says it went to MWCC then to a Chicago Boat Show

CC says the boat left the factory on 6/23/65. So does that make it a 1965 Skylark!?
My steering wheel finally cracked out in the center almost completely. Do you know anyone who restores wheels?

The only thing that bothers me the most is the housing for the cable of my Spotlight. It has broken into and you can't control the light up and down. You can move side to side. Any idea on where to get a housing for this or a remedy?

All speculation on my part, but I'd say the guy that stamped your number on the plate erred and put an M instead of an SL.

I'd say it's a 1965. My Mustang was always a 1967 which I didn't believe. Come to find out it was built in March of 66, so I'd say it's noe a 66.

Pete B is the guy to talk to about your steering wheel and cable for your spot light.

Hey Marty. Could I "borrow" one of your Correct Craft step inserts? I have a local artist who can cast in any non-metallic material. She has offerd to make a mold of an insert if I can find one. And then I can make them myself. Thanks.

Bruce isnt that green color in freedom so cool looking? I am going to have some brand new stainless rings for the 2 & 3/8 exhaust . I am going to core out for 3 or 3&1/2 for the v8 . that other mustang up there would be a nice boat to get . I will go up soon i have my new motor in and everything pretty much hooked up should go good. hey bruce I might be willing to give you my good engine cover for your damaged one if you want. I am going to split one add 4 inches to the width and 6 " to the height all around for the bigger motor .. call me when you want to come for the interior Peter

You talking about these Coltsphan--Pete Briggs?

I bought a 'NEW' set from MWCC last year but just haven't had the heart to retire the OE ones yet.
Peter1234 told me that Pete B would be the one to talk to about a steering wheel restoration. Would that be you or another Pete B.? I'm thinking Pete Brainard?

Peter, I'll call you tomorrow. I'm going to be back there tomorrow unless it's still pouring. The green color on that Skylark is sharp. I've never seen one that color. I was really disappointed it was stripped already. They didn't leave much. I may still want it though. I'm going back tomorrow and try to find someone. It is really busted up. That Champagne colored one is a nice project boat. You'd want to get it cheap though.

No problem Peter. I called you at the last minute. I really appreciate it. The seats are built really well. They and the side panels will clean up nice and look great in my boat. Thank you. I'll be talking with you.
