OK gang. Here we go.

I have two 67 Mustangs. Both very viable hulls w/ CC trailers. Will need stringer repairs and floors. One still has the original motor and tranny installed. The other has had the the 289 pulled and a new marine 302 has been built by a local machine shop. I also have an Edelbrock performer and Holley carb for the new motor. The original block is available but has a few small repairable cracks for someone who wants to be "original". The tranny for the second one needs reworked (Can be if needed).
I also have:
1 - original windshield
1 - original set of seats (front and rear)
1 - teak swim deck
1 - ladder
1 box of newer gauges and original gauges
A bunch of misc stuff
Both boats have 90% of their chrome

Keep in mind I was hoping to restore one of them for this season but my business took off. Now I am trying to save face with my family and get in the water somehow.
I would be interested in a structurally and mechanically sound trade of some type. Cosmetics and aesthetics not important.
Worst case scenario no boat this season.

Thanks for listening to a desperate man!!!

Also thanks to the Boat Dr for all of his help and advice to this point.

Pete

Pete, I hope you find a way to get on the water this season! If you decide to part with some parts, let me know.
I'm interested in finding some decent front seats for the 66 and will email you.

Thanks
-Brad

Pete,

I am interested in the windshield, front seats (as everyone else) and the horse emblem. Also, an original steering wheel if you have one.

Thanks,
Michelle

Sanity,
If he doesn't have an original wheel I have one that is in good condition. Let me know if you still need one after you talk with Pete.

Hey gang. Sorry for the delay in replying. I was out of town at a job site and didn't have my computer. I think I have made a deal to swap what I have for a restored 69 Stang. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for the interest and sorry for the delay.

Hey Marty. Nothing left to trade. I have traded everything I have for the 69 pictured above.

62W, I registered this morning for GL. Bringing the whole crew up ( wife and 2 kids). Any thoughts on accomodations?

Thanks.

OK. The red and black stang was not that great in person AND it was the guy's wife's boat. No way I'm getting involved in that. He has an original cream/white 67 Stang to trade. He is going to install my new 302, put in the original interior, and get her seaworthy and ready for the lake. I pick her up on June 6th. Also, here are some pics of the old teak platform I refinished today. I have my first coat of teak oil on it right now. Probably put a couple more coats on it and then a few coats of Spar varnish. Anyone have any thoughts? (silly question).
