Looks like a nice boat...price is getting better.
I,ve been kinda watching that boat for almost 2 years..I think it was originally listed a 12G firm in the diaries. Notice it is now in Ohio....it has NH tags on it. Maybe this a a different owner than the original 12G listing? Let me know whan its at 2500.

First, it has OH tags the numbering is backwards on the portside. Also the Edelbrock (not K&N) filter ( along with a full set of splitfire sparkplugs) was part of the performance upgrade that year (You would think you guys would know these things) Second it is a Harley tribute model (very rare) which came with all those stickers so it is either a really mint original or a well done restoration. Hopefully they have the original H-D trailer too. Personally I'd grab it myself but my local dealer has the matching Earnhardt Centurions still for sale and I think they will hold there value as collectable boats much better.

It WAS the fastest hull. Actually I thought it looked like such a great design that I've built a knock-off of it which I'm bringing to GL. I'm calling it the BS-tang. I put the engine from my 73 Mustang in it and it runs 114 mph,....pulling a skier,....barefoot. |

Haha I looked at this boat 2 weeks ago with a buddy.
I came to the conclusion its a 69 (2 bow scoops). He said Its been re-gelled on the hull and painted cap. It was ROUGH inside! Looked like someone had used 1/4" plywood on the floor, screwed in with deck screws and filled with "great stuff" around the edges. That's on top of the original floor. The upholstery was done nicely but not original and not very useable. I think he wanted 3500? We didn't call back. |
