Maybe more like screwed up hull?

He should have done a little measuring before he bought his screws?

Actually the boat goes faster now because the screws break the surface tension of the water.   Could you imagine the look on the guys face when he saw that???

Don't know, my son stumbled across these photos on another forum. Thought you all would get a kick out of them. At least the person was big enough to post it!

Chris,
Ask your son if he remembers the site or if he could find it again!

Besides the person being challenged with the tape measure, he doesn't know those screws aren't for fiberglass. They look like Tapcons!!!! Well, I guess they do work on glass!!!

I think they look like Tapcons too, like Pete said above. Great for cement, looks like they are a little agressive for glass.

And seriously, Pete know his screws.

Hey,

I think you all got it wrong. The screws were not long enough and he was about a foot or so outside. Certainly he was trying to secure that boat on the trailer and missed the bunk board.

Clew In,
I saw a guy at the ramp who actually succeeded in screwing his boat to the trailer bunks. He couldn't figure out why the boat would not back off the trailer (neither could I when offering to help).
The new seats he just installed were securely fastened...all the way through to the trailer bunks.

Hey Jimsport93,

It looks like an easy fix. Just a grinder and a little elmers glue should have it fixed up.

Some people just shouldn't own boats.

Can you imagine the hot tingly feeling you would get as you hopped down out of the boat, patting yourself on the back on the way to the beer fridge, and then .....
