Main stringers laminated Divinycell H80 5/8" 5lb density. Secondary stringers and bulkheads laminated polyurethane foam sheets 1/4" 10lb density Deck pieces laminated nidacore 5/8" |

Hey Chuck, It has been a long time, Thanks for the interest. And I am not 100% sure but in the end it come out close to same.
The foam sheets and nidacore are very light in weight but they are laminated with mat and 1808. I have laid up additional glass in the bottom of the hull and I laid up the main stringers in one skin and six times in 1808. It is over built and unbelievably strong. In am very pleased with the materials and process. What I know for sure is how the Ski Nautique already completed displaces water when sitting next to other 81's and that is the same. |

Chuck, just another note is this. Although it won't all get used, When I started this project I bought a 55 gal. drum of polyester resin, A roll of 1.5 ounce mat that weighed about 95 pounds and a roll of 1808 that weighed 179 pounds and 7 gallons of gel coat. That is a lot of weight. Having said all that an empty hull weighs near nothing.

Chuck, Sorry for the delay in responding. The bulkheads are laminated on both sides with a layer of 1808 and a layer sandwiched in the middle. Susequently, they are layed up with one layer of 1808.Finally, the compartments will all be filled with foam.
