Do what 79 says, put one of these drain kits on it,http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RK024056A
The one I got from a CC dealer has a lower profile to it,the hose comes straight out the side of the pan plug, and then hook your vacuum to it.You will get all the oil out and the only mess you'll make is when you take off the filter

my $40 bimini....

well for the last couple of weeks the average highs have been 102-104  , and with us riding 20-25 hours a week the 50 spf just wasnt cutting it anymore it was miserably hot and we had to do something, we were just getting roasted.
monster tower wanted like $500 for a bimini, that was crazy money and wouldnt really work well on my little boat.
so we set out to make our own.

2x: 10' x 1/2" galvanized conduit $1.97 each
4x: 1/2" 90* elbows $2.50 each
2x: white hobby lobby canvas $6.99 yard
1x: misc gromets and zipties $10?

i got the frame measured, cut, and made. test fited it and then took it and the canvas over to pops' house and had him sew up the canvas and install the groments. then back to my place and installed it.
wow what a difference. its SO much cooler and enjoyable on the boat now. night and day. we tryed it out saterday and sunday and it worked great. really glad we did it. just thought id share.

Good story. How is the smoke? All gone? What was the cause of the smoke since the rings seemed to be ok?
Or was it steam from the bad risers?

naa she still smokes. guess it is the rings not the valve seals cause she still smokes just as much. the compression was all even around 90 if i remember but i guess the rings are just shot.

That there's a good lookin boat sir. Ive got the drain kit on min as well. The hose is long enough that it'll go through the bilge hole. I can just throw a pan under it and go. Sooooo nice.
