Its a playground for grown men! Look at all those boats! I tend to visit our "bone yard" a few times a year to see if anything new has popped up!

They should be proud of that boat. Sweet 16's are awesome little boats and that boat in particular looks nearly perfect. I'd love to find a project 16 someday.

I was cruising the salvage yard for gunwale trim for Jess' 73.
The old boat reminded me of a cross between Baby Donzi and a Rayson Craft.

I did find 5 70s style CC steering wheels. All on IMPs.

PS also looking for George Jetson stern lights. No luck.

DrCC- Keep an eye out for a flag staff for my 66.Slight rake to it that fits in the bow light. The hole is like 1/2"(closer to 10mm)Post a pic on the stern light or globe your looking for also.

I don't need an Elroy Jetson, someone else was looking for one.
I did a search and it only gives one and the most current result.
But here's the pic anyway.

I've liked sweet 16s since the 70s. When I was looking for my Tique 5 years ago, I found a sweet 16 v-drive. I didnt know such a thing existed. Scarce!! In hindsight I kind of wish I had gone for it. It was the same price as my tique, but the engine was in a million pieces in the guys basement, which was a little more than I could take on.

A buddy of mine just bought on old donzi to restore. I know he'll do a good job, its the same guy that did the 67 Stevens V-drive I posted pictures of last fall.

ReidP has one. Put it in the water for us 2 summers ago when we were there. What a ride! It was on I-O as I thought they all were. Never saw a v-drive. That would be very cool.

Pretty much the ultimate boat in my mind. The regular sweet 16 is special enough...but then make it a v-drive. Probably the top of my wish list boat.

donzi v-drive

Wow! That v-drive Donzi is enough to make a grown man cry!

Incidentally, are you guys familiar with the four winns u-17? A guy I know just bought one. Not a Donzi, but looks pretty sweet anyway.
