BuffaloBFN does a FANTASTIC job on stringers but he is in Gainesville, it would cost you some cash, he'd have to find the time to do it, but the worst part is you'd have to fight MrsBuffalo for him and that ain't gonna be easy.

Thanks Tim!

I think I already have one lined up for the winter. If I have another or more than that, I'll have to open up the Buffalo Glass shop(hope someone gets that).

Greg,
I always thought it was a problem with bulls in a china shop!!

You sure could start a few more stringer jobs. The next ones will be twice as fast especially if you skip the all the sanding you did on the wood to make it pretty!!! BTW, I'll say it again that I've never seen anyone put the woodworking craftsmanship into a stringer job like you did!! Yup, it was a shame to cover it up.

Thanks Pete!

I'll say again how much of you there is in my boat, and how cool it was to put a face with the voice and great advice and info. Anyone who reads the pumpkin patch will see where I started and in turn, where I ended up. As with so few on this board, it gets done right or not at all.

All I really did was copy what was already there. That and with the applied advice I got here. I surely don't mean to sell anyone short on the help I received; most if not all of CCFan's dignitaries are represnted in the patch. Heck, Eric even helped.

The funniest part is most of what I've worked on isn't visable with the engine cover down. It does get a smile or 2 when I lift it.
