I'm replacing my 351 efi gt40 engine in my 1998 sport nautique and i have come across a problem . along with the alternator wires , i have a blue wire that is a bit longer and i can't seem to find where it goes . it has a small ring terminal on the end of it.
Does anyone have any idea or any one have the same engine that can look at theirs ? thanks for any help ... |

This is a diagram from this site in the reference section for a 1994: 1994 Pro Tec Wiring Diagram It may or may not help. It does show on the 2nd page a blue wire for the oil sending unit. Could that be it?

Thanks for the help , after looking at it and thinking about it , i believe it to be the wire for the amp gauge on the dash ...
