Ye, yes, yes, Thank you all CCFans! You where (and are)of great help.

I bought me a 1983 SN in the USA. I am exited. But, a little disapointed, it's still in Florida waiting for the right (cheap) shipping arangement.

Does someone know where i can find new stickers for on the back? Correct Craft Competitionboat.

That boat wouldn't have stickers on the back, it would be masked off gelcoat showing through the painted stripe.

Congrat's on the "new" boat Hans. We know you've been searching for a while. Only bad thing about it is that fall is here and the weather is probably getting pretty cold in the Netherlands. Good thing about it is that by the time you get it shipped over there, and get it thru Custom's it will be spring.

Hi Kapla,

The boat is from 83. First owner. He builds drag-motors. He send me video's. Walking around and in-water. Looks good and his further info was complete. A friend of my who lives and works in Florida has inspected the boat and decide it was a good one.
Motor 150 hours after rebuilt.Normal wear and tear for that age. few things. And a good trailer. i have 1 foto of the interieur. and the videoos. i don't know how to get these in this reply. i an other reply there was a button and hup there where the pictures. No there isn't.

I already explained what the transom would look like on an original boat, you do not have that. Put on whatever you want at this point. Your side graphics look like 91-93 vintage, but I've never seen black, only white. My point is you're not going to find "Correct Craft Competition Ski Boat" graphics to match your Ski Nautique graphics, because they never existed!

All "white" looking letters on this boat are the hull gelcoat that has been masked off and painted around.

Hans:

I've seen that boat on Ebay - nice job. As Hollywood said, the hull graphics are not original...... so there are no original replacements to fit what you have. The style of the side lettering on your boat is that of a 1994 Ski Nautique not 1983. You can keep with that style, or do whatever you wish...... (say go back to original). I am posting pics of lettering on 1994s..... look in the Diaries section or the Brochures in the Reference section to get a feel for what the 83s look like versus what you have and what you may want.... enjoy the research while you wait for the boat!!! - - Steve

Hello Hans,

Welcome, The guys above are correct. the SKI NAUTIQUE on the side of your boat is not original. I do have the rear decals like the blue boat above if you are interested. I know that they were not a decal but I had them made for a stencil.

Hans,

Congratulations man!
Finally you got your boat. Let me know when she arrives in Holland, I'll drive up to your place to come and take a look at her up close!

Hi Hans,

Nice boat and I bet a good deal too.
Just leave it like it is and enjoy it.
You can change the graphics/painting to original later on.

I prefer original looks, also for classic cars and bikes.
Better for the value as well.

Like to see your boat next summer in action.
Where do you live?
