To bad paul harvey is gone, this would have made a great rest of the story...

Hit a tree and a fire plug pulling out of the driveway and the wife had to break out the window with a club to save him... yea
Take your work seriously, not yourself.

Careful, if you try to read more into it than what they want you to it will be considered racist and the Al Sharpton (Tigers best friend) will be all over it. As for me I don't care, I don't golf.

he's your friend? or do you just live in the same area as him. ted kennedy was from mass like me but he wouldnt have been my friend even if he was my neighbor.. he left a girl to drown anyone can make excuses but at the end of the day he screwed up a lot of lives. and like eric said people in the limelight should be held to a higher standard.

I agree with Peter1234. When you rise to that social or athletic standing, more good is expected of you.Our culture seems to endorse/allow the opposite. The CEO's CFO'S and others that took our money wrongly are cut from the same cloth.

lol, hemmoroids are personal. I guess there is a fascination of this stuff and I kinda gave him the thumbs up for striving to the front of his sport and thought he was a stand up guy according to the media's eyes and what i was led to believe, HW i was dis-appointed when i heard that and Im sure there is truth to it, I guess temptation got the best of him and thats what i cant understand. I thought he was very focused and disciplined ....but at the end of the day a lesson is learned to the old addage "money aint everything" he does get some mighty fine POA because of it though. point being at the end of the day no matter how hard you worked or how much you made he wipes his ass like me and you....except he uses 100 dollar bills

John its a telegraph machine, the signals are sent to India and it gets deciphered there and then onto the sites server, The more im in this town the more i hate it...I had a typical tuckian here yesterday, kind of a hang arounder. normally we get 350 to undercoat vehicles for the government, he got the friend price of 200.00 and i personally came in on Friday to do it, he came in yesterday bitchin about a little spot on his "Cavalier down here refered to as Cadillac" i pulled all the plugs squirted up in the rockers, taped everything off, used twice as much undercoating as normal. yesterday I went off on this guy to the point where the other guys were holding me, I called him every name in the book and he stayed away. here is another addage that applies.....if you do 9.00 dollar oil changes you get 9.00 dollar brunstuckians
I guess point being in my eyes he shouldve said "hey thanks i appreciate the extra attention and the price....man i was badgering this guy, i was saying to him "what you feel you didnt pay enough and you want to pay for the extra gallon? its always the a-holes that bitch
OK im vented

Eric I feel your pain.
I have a guy that got the good ole boy discount on ordered parts for his MasteCraft. He picked up his parts and I even opened up my shop to install them for near nothing. Bottom line is I am having to chase this guy down to get paid. And your right it is the cheap SOB's that whine and snivel the most.

Why would I expect some golfer (insert any talented athlete) I've never even met to teach anyone right from wrong? If you hold them to a higher standard, that's your own choice. I try to act appropriately in front of impressionable children because I want to. If somebody is going to show pictures or video of me on my own time it's their own choice to look or not.

Great post HW...my thoughts exactly.

The world has become absolutely obsessed with celebrities that it's sickening. TMZ, Ent. Tonight, Access Hollywood, etc... .

HW that comes with the territory and the same reason he rakes in the cash is the same reason the tabloids do, people want to see him golf and people want to see people in turmoil,
I took a vow and to me its like shaking a mans hand, and i did look up to him not as being athletic or richer but as a leader of setting an example of how a man should act, a role model for kids even the strives he made as a black golfer, and to lead by example. as i said i was just very dis-appointed in his actions and i just thought he was better than that. and from here on out just like Clinton, 50 years from now this is what he will be remembered for, not his great game of golf
i dont fall for the tabloid stuff and gossip, the guy has the world by the balls, a beautiful wife and 2 beautiful children
He knows people are looking for the million dollar picture and maybe in a way i just thought he was smarter than that

Well I guess this story is over now, but I did look up the pics (slight curiosity and an IPhone). The guy in the supposed pick is obviously not Tiger, and his face is blurred out. Tiger's PR machine really is amazing, its a wall, nobody talks ever. Lots of other high profile people should learn from this and shut up.

What do Tiger Woods and baby seals have in common?   They're both
in
danger of being clubbed by Norwegians!

Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn't
decide between the iron or the wood.

Tiger just hates it when he drives, and then his balls hit a tree.

Based on Tiger's interests, his new product endorsements will be
for
      Hostess.

This morning, his agent announced that the new nickname for Tiger
will either be Cheetah or Lion.

His wife Elin told police that she went for a rescue wood, but it
looks like she really went for the driver.

Did you hear that he inspired a new Kung Fu movie to be released?
      "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Hydrant."

Did you make it out of your own driveway safely this morning?
Then
you can say that you outdrove Tiger Woods.

Tiger just lost his endorsement with Gillette because now they
can't
use his ad in which he says, "This was my closest shave yet."

Elin Nordegren got hired today as a consultant. She's teaching
Phil
      Mickelson how to beat Tiger.

What do Tiger and Elin have in common? They both try to club his
      balls as hard as possible.

Tiger's confused. Every OTHER time he made a hole-in-one,
everyone
      was all happy about it.

Usually Tiger makes it onto the fairway, but he's in trouble on
this
round because he put one into the bush.

Did you hear about Tiger's last outing? He drove into a tree,
then
ended up with a bad lie.

What kind of club did Elin swing at Tiger?   Looks like it was a
      bitching wedge.

Tiger Woods has a lot of nice cars, but now he has a hole in one.

What's the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can
drive
      a ball 350 yards.

Tiger Woods wasn't seriously injured in the crash, but he's still
      below par.

What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the
morning?
      They went clubbing.
