Quite possible but obviously no idea about boat shows or at least judged ones.

Not sure if this should go in the "ebayhole post... trying to give this guy the benefit of the doubt... Im pretty sure this is NOT a 1963 Barracuda tho!

I emailed him to let him know I think it is of the 67-68 vintage... in fact its hull # is 16 before my 68's. We'll see what/if he responds!

David,

That is pretty cheap right now but at the same time when you read the fine print what is good on the boat? Submerged vessel, electronics are shot, engine and tranny were not pickeled, upholstery - floor - and stringers are rotting away if not now they will need repair soon, the trailer is not included, windshield is fractured. It is becoming a huge restoration project in lieu of an expensive paper weight at this point. Lastly and most importantly it is not a CC. Thanks for the link though and I am glad that it is on the west coast because usually the huge projects are the ones that I always seem to get myself into. This one would have been right up my alley if it were closer and goes for $500 or less.

Not sure how to post the links but this look like it could be an interesting project for someone on the left coast. 91 Sanger. The price is right so far.

The person that donated the boat to charity probably told them it was worth this amount of money so he could get the tax write off.

Ya gotta not like boats to let that much decay happen.

What a shame.

Normally I HATE posting ebay links since it increases exposure and drives up the price... but here is one item that Im pretty sure would be otherwise overlooked. This is the late 60's/early 70's 3-spoke plastic steering wheel:

steering wheel on ebay

Obviously it needs to be painted (white/cream) and its missing the insert that CC used, but the wheel itself is correct. Just in case anybody is looking for a replacement. The shipping appears expensive, but if you select either parcel post or UPS ground, it becomes more reasonable.
