Has anyone seen this boost system which is supposed to be specific for inboard marine engines? Any ideas/opinions?

the only experience ive had with putting a chip in is needing a computer 2 weeks later, it was on a car and when first installed I didnt see much noticable difference, then the main computer took a sht. im going back to the OEM chip and getting a rebuilt computer, this doesnt necessarily mean they dont work though.

Don't know how comfortable I would be ordering an after market part for my CC from England.

This isnt a chip, or a reprogramming. It's a resistor that is added in series to one of the sensors that runs the engine. Sure it is a remote controlled adjustable resistor.. but a resistor nonetheless. It tells the computer the air is colder than it is and the computer adds more fuel. How they claim that will save fuel I have no idea... If for some reason the current setup runs a bit lean this might help a bit but more likely you will just use more fuel foul more plugs and have an engine that carbons up and doesnt quite last as long. A real reprogramming could help in some cases of upgraded or changed out components.. but this is not a real reprogramming.

I went back and read through and it does fool your o2 and intake air temp, i let one of my guys loose on a car the other day, it cranked and sounded like a timing belt, not even a burp, i took a plug tester and sensed spark and let him loose on it......i told him to pull the plugs and check them and went on to do my work. 4 hours later new fuel pump, new regulator and new relay up in the dash...still no burp. as usual i said let it sit I'll get to it. first thing i did was a compression test, 150 across the board, it was getting spark and fuel. I grabbed the old plugs and put wires to them and laid them on the valve cover and hit the key...not one spark, by this time im really pissed, got a new set of plugs hit the key and it fired...point of the story, this sht fools basic everyday mechanics, something so simple, he never checked the plugs and assumed....he assumed when i handed him his Christmas bonus Saturday, and i let him know he needs to take some night classes. one thing i learned is Ive never seen 4 plugs not fire
